At Aqua Vie, we understand that learning to swim can be a daunting experience for both children and adults. That's why our classes are designed to create a fun and relaxed environment, where individuals can learn at their own pace with the support of our highly trained teachers.

For babies as young as 6 weeks old, we offer Baby Swimming Fun classes in warm pools. These classes promote water confidence and skills through small group sessions. We incorporate the principles of the Alexander Technique to encourage intelligent movement and well-being in the water.

Children's Lessons at Aqua Vie are structured and enjoyable, with options for one-on-one sessions or small group lessons. Our experienced teachers provide hands-on guidance, promoting enjoyment, confidence, and swimming skills. We believe that learning to swim should be a positive experience that builds lifelong skills and promotes a love for the water.

We also offer Adult Lessons, catering to individuals who may have had frustrating experiences with traditional swimming lessons. Whether in one-on-one sessions or small groups, our teachers focus on promoting correct alignment, confidence, enjoyment, and technique. Our approach has been particularly successful in helping adults overcome their fears and develop a love for swimming.

Aqua Vie is a family-run business, led by sisters Jan Jordan and Karen Logan since 2004. They bring over a decade of experience in teaching swimming and the Alexander Technique to their classes in Leicestershire, Hertfordshire, and London. Jan and Karen are passionate about providing a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals of all ages to learn and enjoy swimming.

Our classes take place in private, warm swimming pools that are not open to the public. This ensures a comfortable and safe environment for our students. We also offer private 1-2-1 lessons upon request, providing individualised attention and instruction.
