Aquarius Swim School, a state-of-the-art facility in Coventry, is excited to offer swimming lessons for children at various locations across the city. With pools conveniently situated in the north, south, and east, Aquarius Swim School aims to minimise travel time for its students.
In the south, Xcel Leisure Centre boasts a fantastic 25-meter pool with an adjustable floor height. Over at Centre AT7, you'll find a 25-meter pool complete with a splash pool. And for those looking for a longer pool, The Alan Higgs Centre offers a magnificent 50-meter pool also with an adjustable floor height.
Swimming lessons at Aquarius Swim School are thirty minutes long, ensuring that children receive focused instruction during their sessions. For those who have progressed through all the stages, multi-aquatic classes lasting one hour are available, providing an opportunity to further develop their skills. The school's experienced and dedicated teachers prioritise teaching all four main strokes, instilling water confidence and important water skills in their students. As a bonus, children have the chance to earn badges from the ASA 'learn to swim' pathway as they hone their keystroke techniques.
To make the enrolment process as easy as possible, Aquarius Swim School offers online registration for the Xcel Leisure Centre. Simply check the available stages on the website and visit the centre or call reception for in-person enrolment. Please note that online enrolment is currently only available for Xcel Leisure Centre.

Additionally, The Wave in Coventry offers swimming lessons for both children and adults. While attending lessons, we kindly ask that you adhere to our school's policies. Feel free to watch your child's lesson from the viewing galleries/areas at Centre AT7, The Alan Higgs Centre, and Xcel Leisure Centre. However, please refrain from taking photographs or videos in these areas. We also kindly request that you wear blue coverings on your feet while in the changing rooms. During lesson times, please keep the poolside area clear of spectators, pushchairs, and personal belongings. We provide lockers for the storage of your child's belongings, so please avoid leaving them on the poolside. If needed, body belts are available for purchase at the reception, but unfortunately, we cannot lend them out. Finally, please ensure that your child is fitted with the body belt before the lesson begins, as our staff are unable to assist with this.
