

Aquafanatics is a swim club located in Salter Point, Western Australia. With a mission to develop strong, confident, and proficient swimmers, Aquafanatics provides a fun, safe, and family-oriented environment for swimmers of all ages and skill levels.
Led by owners and head instructors Christopher Twomey and Camille Claudino, Aquafanatics offers world-class programmes in learn-to-swim and squad training. Chris brings over 30 years of experience in aquatics, including national titles in competitive swimming, water-polo, and surf-lifesaving. He has coached national champions in Ireland and Australia, and has been a coach on WA State and Australian National Teams. With a Masters Degree in Sport Education, Chris is highly qualified as a swimming instructor and an Advanced Level swimming coach.
He has a keen interest in athlete and coach education and regularly runs swimming teacher and coach courses.
Camille brings over 10 years of experience in the aquatic industry, with a background in Sports Science and Physical Education. As a former national champion in Brazil and the founder of her own successful artistic swimming team, Camille has a deep understanding of the sport. She has also served as the Aquatic Sports Coordinator for the Rio 2016 Olympics and is currently the state development officer for artistic swimming in Western Australia. Camille is qualified as a Swim Teacher, Swim Teacher for Babies and Toddlers, and Swim Teacher for Learners with Disabilities.
Aquafanatics offers a range of programmes and services to cater to the needs of its members. The learn-to-swim programme is designed to help swimmers develop essential water skills and progress to become confident and competent in the water. The squad training programme is available for swimmers who are interested in taking their skills to the next level and participating in competitive swimming. Aquafanatics also offers adult fitness classes, private lessons, holiday programmes, and artistic swimming training.
The club prides itself on its small class sizes, ensuring individual attention and personalised instruction for each swimmer. All classes are taught by nationally accredited and experienced swimming instructors, who are committed to creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
Aquafanatics boasts a heated outdoor 50m pool, allowing for comfortable swimming sessions throughout the year. The club also offers facilities for school programmes, training camps, and hosts nationally accredited courses for individuals interested in becoming swimming instructors or coaches.
To enhance communication and convenience for members, Aquafanatics has developed a user-friendly app. Through the app, parents and guardians can make payments, view their child's progress, notify absences, schedule make-up sessions, and inform the club of any medical conditions.
