About
Applied Movement is a Pilates studio, physical therapy clinic, and training provider located in Singapore. Since 2016, Applied Movement has been the host of Anatomy Trains courses in Singapore, offering Structural Integration Education for physiotherapists and manual therapists. The core certification programme, Anatomy Trains Structural Integration (ATSI), is based on the development of Ida Rolf's pioneering work and is designed for healthcare and manual technique professionals, as well as movement professionals interested in developing manual techniques.
Applied Movement offers a range of workshops and courses, including the popular Anatomy Trains in Structure & workshop, which serves as a pre-requisite for subsequent Structural Essentials modules. The studio also provides specialised workshops such as Structural Abdomen, Chest and Breath, which focus on the impact of breath on structural issues in the trunk and its relationship with the pelvis.
In addition to Anatomy Trains courses, Applied Movement offers specialised training programmes such as Spinal Asymmetry and Scoliosis Essentials Level 1 for Pilates Method Movement Educators (PMME). This course deep dives into working with clients with scoliosis, providing movement educators with the necessary skills to effectively address spinal asymmetry and related issues.
