The academy also caters to adults with their fun-based adult Jazz class, which not only provides an opportunity to dance and exercise but also to socialise with other dance enthusiasts. They also offer Pilates classes led by a fully qualified instructor. This allows adults to improve their strength and flexibility while also benefiting from the mind-body connexion that Pilates provides.

The principal of Anna's Academy of Dance, Anna Watson, has had a passion for dance from a young age. She completed professional training at SLP College in Leeds and has a strong background in Musical Theatre. Anna aims to pass on her love and enthusiasm for dance to her students, helping them develop and grow in a friendly and enjoyable environment. She is committed to providing the teaching and support required for students who aspire to pursue a career in dance, while also understanding that many students participate in classes purely for the joy of dancing as a hobby.

The academy offers a range of classes to suit every age and ability. Ballet classes are taught in line with the I. S. T.

D. syllabus, providing students with a strong foundation in dance and developing their technique. Modern classes also follow the I. S.

T. D. syllabus, offering a range of styles and allowing students to become versatile dancers. Tap classes, while free, focus on technique and style, teaching students set steps and timing.
