Andy Fletcher Golf

Andy Fletcher is the Head Teaching Professional at Lakeside Lodge Golf Academy in Huntingdon. He has been a fully qualified PGA professional since 2002 and has been an integral part of the Lakeside Lodge team since 2006. With his dedicated, enthusiastic, and energetic teaching methods, Andy has become a popular tutor in all aspects of coaching, from beginners to professionals.

Andy has extensive experience in helping and improving the skills of men, ladies, and juniors either individually or as part of group coaching sessions. He is constantly updating his skills by attending PGA Development & Coaching Seminars and learning from some of the country's top coaches. These experiences have shaped his own unique approach to coaching.

Andy firmly believes that all players can improve at any stage of their golf playing years. His coaching style is tailored to the specific requirements of each individual in order to achieve their golfing potential while also having fun.

Andy offers various lesson options for golfers of all skill levels. The standard lesson options include one-to-one sessions with a PGA Instructor for either 30 minutes or 60 minutes. He also offers trackman and video analysis lessons to help golfers improve their swing technique. For those looking for an on-course playing experience, Andy offers playing lessons that include the green fee.

Andy also provides group lessons, such as the “Two's Company” and “Three's, even better” sessions, where golfers can bring a friend or two to learn together. He also offers MOT assessments and the “Complete the Four” package for a comprehensive golf training experience.

All lessons with Andy include the use of TrackMan 3D ball tracking and GASP video analysis, with a lesson summary and flightscope data emailed to the golfer upon completion of the lesson. Range balls and equipment hire are included, although golfers are welcome to use their own clubs.

In addition to individual and group lessons, Andy regularly organises Adult Group Classes at Lakeside Lodge Golf Academy. These classes provide an excellent opportunity to learn the game of golf while also making new friends. They are a popular and cost-effective way to improve golf skills.

For beginners, Andy offers the “Learn Golf The Easy Way” programme, which is a 6-week course that covers the fundamental aspects of the game, including swing techniques, chipping, putting, pitching, bunker play, and a supervised 6-hole playing lesson. Intermediate players can join the “Find Your Perfect Golf Swing” programme, a 4-week intensive master programme that focuses on swing positions, video analysis, short game skills, gaining more power with woods, course strategy, and individual lesson guidance notes for future reference.
