Hi Everyone,
David here from your community sports team. He'd like to share some exciting news about Amy's Dance Academy, located right here in Leighton Buzzard.
Amy's Dance Academy is a fantastic place offering top-notch dance education for all ages and abilities. Whether you're into ballet, tap, modern, or contemporary styles, Amy’s got you covered with a bunch of classes following the ISTD and RAD syllabus. This means students get the chance to enter exams and earn formal qualifications.
Classes are spread across two locations: the academy's premises in Leighton Buzzard and Stewkley Village Hall. Kids can start as young as 9 months with pre-school ballet, and from age 4, they can take RAD ballet and ISTD tap and modern classes.
There's also an awesome Musical Theatre class, thanks to a collaboration with Holly's Theatre. This is perfect for those who fancy blending dance with a bit of acting. Plus, Amy's offers ballet, tap, and barre classes for adults too – perfect if you want to brush up on your skills or just dance for fun and fitness.
All the teachers are top professionals, highly qualified, CRB checked, and fully insured. They’re really passionate about making a positive and nurturing environment where everyone can grow and love dancing. Amy, the principal, started dancing at 3 and has loads of experience, with teaching qualifications in ballet, tap, and modern, and she's performed at some pretty high-profile events. Her right-hand woman, Emma, is a trained ballet teacher from London with registered teacher status from the Royal Academy of Dance.
At Amy's, it's not just about dancing - it's about gaining confidence, discipline and creativity too. They believe dance can inspire and empower, and every class is a chance for students to let their imagination run wild and express themselves through movement.
So, whether you're just starting out or an experienced dancer, Amy's Dance Academy would love to have you join their vibrant community. Come and find out how fun dancing can be at Amy's in Leighton Buzzard.
Cheers,
David
