Amersham & Chalfont Hockey Club (ACHC) is a vibrant and welcoming sports club located in the scenic Chilterns region of Amersham. The club's ladies section is open to players of all abilities, whether you're an established player or a Back to Hockey first-timer. Similarly, the men's section offers opportunities for adults, masters, and grand masters to compete in league and cup competitions at all levels.
The heart of the club lies in its juniors section, which boasts an impressive 500 young players across 25 teams, making ACHC one of the largest junior sections in England. The club prides itself on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for juniors of all skill levels. With dedicated Academy coaching and a range of camps, there is hockey available for everyone.
ACHC's facilities are second to none, with a fantastic clubhouse and pitch that offer a picturesque backdrop to the game. The clubhouse overlooks the hockey pitch, allowing spectators to enjoy the matches whether indoors or outdoors. The club is home to 15 adult teams playing in the Saturday league, as well as summer and mixed hockey.
Coaching is a top priority at ACHC, and all members have access to regular coaching sessions throughout the main season. The club's coaching team is made up of experienced professionals, including head coach Martin Jackson, Rich Egglesfield, and Mark Talbot.
