Amber Valley Tai Chi Chuan

Amber Valley Tai Chi Chuan, based in Belper, Derbyshire, is a respected Tai Chi school that’s been around since 2012. Led by Level 5 instructor J King, or Sifu to the students, the school offers comprehensive instruction in Wudang Tai Chi Chuan.

J King’s classes cover more than just the slow movements you might picture - students dive into hand forms, weapon forms, pushing hands, and san shou. There are even elements of Qi Gong incorporated into the sessions.

People of all ages and experience levels can join, with classes designed to be relaxed, enjoyable, and varied. While it can sometimes be challenging, it's also incredibly energising. J King works hard to ensure everyone feels welcome and supported.

Most classes suit those aged 18 to 60, but due to increasing interest, there's a plan to start a dedicated class for those over 60, focusing on the health benefits of Tai Chi. Keep an eye out for updates or contact the school directly for more information.
