Immerse yourself in the stunning alpine beauty of Sun Peaks with Nancy Greene's Cahilty Lodge's Alpine Yoga sessions. Taking place on Saturdays and Sundays at either 10:00 am or 2:00 pm, these three-hour sessions are a perfect way to relax and rejuvenate amidst nature.
For those interested, bookings are recommended as classes are weather-dependent. All skill levels are welcome, and modifications are offered for each pose to cater to individual needs. Participants must be at least 13 years old, with rates set at CAD $93 for adults (19+) and CAD $77 for youth (13-18), which includes a lift ticket, hike, and yoga session. Yoga mat rentals are available for CAD $12.
To start your Alpine Yoga experience, meet your instructor outside Guest Services before boarding the Sunburst chairlift. Following a scenic ride to mid-mountain, embark on a short hike through alpine wildflower meadows that lasts around 25-30 minutes. Once you reach a secluded mountainside spot, enjoy a 45-minute yoga practice led by your instructor.
Afterwards, your group will hike back to the on-mountain Sunburst Lodge Restaurant. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable session, remember to bring water, a towel, bug spray, appropriate clothing, sunscreen, and your yoga mat.
