Allexton & New Parks FC

Allexton & New Parks FC is a football club based in Leicester, New Zealand. Established in 1996, the club's main objective is to provide organised and leisure-time activities for the local youngsters in New Parks and the surrounding areas. The club's name, Allexton & New Parks, was derived from the meeting place at The Allexton Centre and playing space provided by New Parks Community College.

The club has seen significant growth over the years and currently runs 27 teams, competing from U9 level upwards. With a multi-racial membership of over 350 players aged 5 years and above, Allexton & New Parks FC prides itself on being inclusive and welcoming to players from diverse backgrounds.

In 2013/14, the club achieved great success by becoming league champions in the Leicester & District League and winning the Beacon Bitter Cup in the previous season. This success is a testament to the dedication and hard work of the club's players, coaches, and volunteers.

Four years ago, Allexton & New Parks FC extended its reach to open-aged football, initially participating in the Leicester & District League before being promoted to the prestigious Leicestershire Senior League's premier Division. This expansion allows the club to provide quality football opportunities that span a player's entire career, fostering skill development and offering the chance to become a volunteer helper within the club.

For several years, the club had been searching for a dedicated headquarters. Finally, in 2007, the Leicester City Council and LRCFA, with the support of the Football Foundation and other funding assistance, established a Financial Investment Strategy to develop football facilities throughout the city. Allexton & New Parks FC became the main partner club to use the state-of-the-art facilities at New College, including a floodlit senior pitch, numerous grass pitches, and a pavilion with a large clubroom. The highlight of the facility is the full-size '3g' rubber crumb, floodlit All-weather Training Pitch.

This facility has been a dream come true for the club, providing a permanent and professional space for training and matches.

The club's commitment to supporting the local community and nurturing young talent is evident through its status as a registered charity (number 1082323). Affiliated with the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA, Allexton & New Parks FC continues to thrive under the guidance of dedicated trustees and supportive sponsors.
