Alisons Studio of Dance

Alison's Studio of Dance is a vibrant dance school located in the beautiful city of New Plymouth. We offer a wide range of dance training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, tap, stretch, and contemporary classes in a positive and encouraging environment. Our studio believes that everyone should have the opportunity to learn dance, regardless of age or skill level. With over 30 years of experience, we have classes available for children starting from 2 years old up to high school age.

We also offer adult classes in ballet and jazz for those who are young at heart.

At Alison's Studio of Dance, we are dedicated to providing excellent dance education. Our team of teachers are passionate about dance and love to pass on that passion to their students. We place a strong focus on teaching proper technique and the joy of dance. Our goal is to not only teach dance skills but also to build self-esteem and confidence in our students.

Through hard work, cooperation, patience, and focus, our students develop their creative abilities in a rewarding and nurturing environment.

Throughout the year, our students have the opportunity to participate in grades and medals examinations, yearly seminars, competition solos, performing opportunities, and our highly anticipated End of Year Concert. These experiences allow our students to showcase their talents and celebrate their achievements.

In addition to our regular classes, we also offer special Holiday Dance Fun Classes during school holidays. These classes include Fairy Ballerina Holiday Classes for ages 4-7, Jazzy Dancer Holiday Classes for ages 5-7, and Holiday Fun Dance Day for ages 7-12. These classes are open to all, regardless of prior dance experience. It's a great opportunity for children to have fun, learn some new dance moves, and make new friends.

We are currently taking enrolments for the upcoming year. As a special offer, all new enrolments for 2024 will receive a 10% discount. Our 2024 timetable and fees are displayed on our Classes page. For those who are new to Alison's Studio of Dance, we offer a free trial lesson, so you can experience the joy of dancing before committing.
