One of the notable dance styles offered at Ali Greenwood Dancentre is the classic IDTA ballet. Ballet serves as the foundation for all good dancers, enhancing strength, grace, and posture. The school also offers IDTA tap classes, which promote coordination, rhythm, and the strengthening and loosening of foot, ankle, and leg muscles.
For students aged 6 and above who attend ballet, the centre provides IDTA modern jazz classes. These classes focus on developing various movements that encompass a wide range of musical styles and rhythms. Modern jazz classes help students prepare their physical strength and flexibility, enabling them to express emotions through dance.
The dancentre also offers Acrodance classes, which consist of strength and conditioning exercises along with stretching to enable children to perform skills effectively and safely.
