At Alex's studio, they stick to the Body Control Pilates approach, which means you can expect both mat and machine-based exercises.
This isn't just any workout. Osteopaths, chiropractors, and physios swear by it because it works. The core principles focus on relaxation, concentration, coordination, centering, alignment, breathing, stamina, and smooth movements.
You can catch Alex's classes at different spots throughout the week. Monday’s at Cholsey Pavilion from 9:30am to 10:30am. Hit Drayton Village Hall on Tuesdays at the same time. A midweek chair-based session takes place at Woodcote Village Hall from 9:30am to 10:15am on Wednesdays.
Thursdays are packed - start at Cholsey Pavilion from 10:45am to 11:45am, then move to Northcourt Centre in Abingdon from 2:00pm to 3:00pm, and wrap up back at Cholsey Pavilion from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
Alex knows her stuff. She's a top-trained instructor with Body Control Pilates, one of the best training setups in the UK and Europe. With a dance background and her own history of back pain, Pilates was a game-changer for her. She fell in love with it and knew this was her calling.
