Alexandra Dance Hall

Alexandra Dance Hall is a vibrant and inclusive community hub located in Calgary, serving the neighborhoods of Inglewood, Ramsay, Beltline, Victoria Park, and East Village. The Alexandra Centre Society (ACS) was established in 1975 as a registered charity with a mission to enhance, strengthen, and celebrate the rich heritage of the surrounding communities.

At Alexandra Dance Hall, we offer a wide range of community programs, classes, events, and facility rentals within our beautiful historic building on 9th Avenue & 9th Street SE. Our goal is to foster an engaged and inclusive community space that can be enjoyed by all for years to come.

Members of ACS enjoy special pricing for classes, programs, and rentals, as well as the opportunity to provide input on how the society supports the local communities. Additionally, becoming a member of ACS includes a $5 donation to our society and exclusive discounts at partners like Cloverdale Paint.

Visitors to Alexandra Dance Hall can park in our designated visitor parking spaces, while reserved parking stalls are reserved for building tenant staff. We also offer monthly Seniors' Socials for those looking to connect with others in the community.
