Alcester Badminton Club

Welcome to Alcester Badminton Club, a friendly and inclusive club located in Alcester, New Zealand. Whether you are a seasoned player or a beginner looking to improve your skills, we provide a welcoming environment for players of all abilities.

Our club nights take place every Monday from 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm and Thursday from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. On Mondays, we gather at Alcester Grammar School sports hall, a state-of-the-art facility that offers outstanding playing conditions. The sports hall is a modern building, providing a high-quality environment for badminton enthusiasts.

Thursday sessions are held at The Greig Hall, which is part of the sports complex managed by Everyone Active. This venue offers a fantastic space for badminton, ensuring that players have the best experience possible during their practise sessions.

If you're interested in joining our club, please contact us in advance. We offer the opportunity for newcomers to try out our facilities and meet our friendly members. Your first two visits are free of charge, allowing you to determine if Alcester Badminton Club is the right fit for you.

At Alcester Badminton Club, we participate in local leagues associated with Badminton England. We enter mixed and men's teams, and our usual match night is on Thursdays. This provides an opportunity for more competitive play and allows members to represent our club within the community.

To support our members' development, we have a fully qualified coach who visits us approximately once every six weeks. This coaching expertise helps members enhance their skills and further their enjoyment of the sport.
