Alan established the UK's first-ever Pilates studio after training in New York with instructors who were directly taught by Joseph Pilates himself. With Alan's extensive experience, he is also sought after as a lecturer worldwide and has authored several books on Pilates.

In today's sedentary lifestyles, Pilates serves as an antidote to prolonged sitting, driving, and heavy bag-carrying. For those interested in becoming Pilates teachers, we offer the Alan Herdman Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Course. This course aims to train students to develop high levels of expertise in teaching the Pilates-based method of exercise.
At Alan Herdman Pilates, we provide 1-2-1 classes at Seymour Street, which are available at 80 per session or 750 for 10 sessions. We also offer online booking for classes at the Third Space, Canary Wharf, through our new online booking system. If you prefer, you can still make and amend bookings in person, via telephone, or email. Our instructors will be happy to assist you in getting familiar with the system.
