AKF Karate at La Perle (Ohtsuka Amateur Karate Foundation) is a reputable martial arts school located in Edmonton, Alberta. Founder and Chief Director Sensei Joseph Rempel, a direct student of Sensei Shintani, established the first Wado Kai program at the University of Alberta in 1978.
