Akarana Golf Club is rolling out the greens and the reds for all golfers, whether you’re a member or just popping in for a visit. The course, par 71, is a good mix of tricky and cruisey holes, making it a sweet spot for players at any level.
Now, let’s talk numbers. If you're just visiting, green fees are $105 no matter the day, but if you’re tagging along with a member, it’s $60. Juniors under 20 get a sweet deal too, with affiliated ones paying only $20 for 18 holes and $15 for a 9-hole round.
Got to dress the part though – the club's got a dress code. Recognised golf get-up is the go, and soft spike golf shoes or flat-soled trainers are a must.
The club’s got you covered with facilities too. You can snag a golf cart for $50, hire clubs and a trundler for $40, or just a trundler for $5. And if you’ve got a green fee voucher, you can use it weekdays or after 3 pm on Saturdays and after 12:30 pm on Sundays.
Booking a tee time is a doddle, either online on the club’s site or by giving the pro shop a ring. The knowledgeable crew there can also help you out with gear and bookings.
