AJ's Academy of Dance and Drama is a renowned dance school located in Sittingbourne, New Zealand. Over the past 18 years, AJ's Academy of Dance and Drama has accumulated a wealth of experience in teaching and nurturing talent. The academy began with less than 35 students, but now boasts a student population of over 170. Each year, the academy hosts a highly anticipated Summer show at the prestigious Hazlitt Theatre in Maidstone, which serves as the highlight of the year. In addition, a Christmas party with a small display is organised in December.
The academy takes pride in the hundreds of students, both young and more mature, who have passed through their doors and found joy in their offerings.
AJ's Academy of Dance and Drama extends its offerings beyond traditional dance classes for children. The academy also offers adults dance lessons, which are not only great fun but also provide a social environment for its participants. With a diverse range of classes to choose from, there are 32 classes available throughout the week, providing flexibility for students and ensuring that there is something for everyone.

With classes such as street, ballet, tap, musical production, jazz, contemporary, singing, and drama, students can select the styles that pique their interest. The academy hosts classes in multiple venues including the Clock Tower Hall, The Fitness Centre, and Regis Manor Primary School, ensuring accessibility for students from different areas.
In addition to regular classes and performances, AJ's Academy of Dance and Drama provides unique opportunities for students to showcase their talent. One such opportunity is the Disneyland Paris Performance in 2024, for which applications are currently being taken. This gives students the chance to perform on an international stage and gain invaluable experience.
