Fitness enthusiasts can make use of the larger pool, which has a maximum depth of 2 metres and even has separate swimming lanes for those seeking a more focused workout.

One of the standout features of the Airlie Beach Lagoon is its elevated position on a breakwater. Lifeguards are present to ensure the safety of swimmers and are on duty from 05:30 am to 7:00 pm during the winter months (June to August), extending to 9:00 pm in the summer months (September to May).
