Welcome to Aintree Motorcycle Racing Club, a premier racetrack located at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. With over 60 years of racing history, our club has a rich heritage and a dedicated following of motorcycle enthusiasts.
The Aintree circuit is unique as it utilises half of the old Formula 1 Grand Prix Circuit, where the British Grand Prix was held in the late 50s and 60s. In addition to car racing, motorcycle racing also took place here during that period, attracting many legendary motorcyclists.
Some famous racers, such as Carl Fogarty, began their racing careers at Aintree and went on to achieve great success in Formula 1 and world Superbike championships.
Throughout the year, we host four meetings, taking place in May, June, July, and August. These meetings are organised under the ACU regulations, which govern all motorcycle sports in the UK.
At our meetings, you can witness thrilling races featuring various classes, including Classic Solos, Superbikes, F1 and F2 Sidecars, Forgotten Era, Unlimited Classic Solos, Power bikes, and Steel framed, among others.
Getting to Aintree Racing Circuit is convenient, as it is situated at Aintree Racecourse, just one mile from the northern end of the M57 and M58 Motorways. If you're using GPS, simply enter the address Aintree Golf Centre, Melling Road, Liverpool L9 5AS.
