The Aikido Oxford Koushinkan Mixed Martial Arts club is excited to announce that our classes are now back in full swing! We want to assure all our members and potential players that we take health and safety seriously. That's why we make sure to spotless all our mats and equipment before and after each class. Plus, our dedicated instructors are tested twice a week and have received the Covid vaccine.
For our adult players, we offer classes on Thursdays from 7.00-8.00pm and Sundays from 5.00-6.00pm. You can find us at the South Oxford Community Centre, conveniently located at Lake Street, Oxford OX1 4RP. Just a little heads up, the training hall is situated at the back of the centre, accessible through the gate in Hinksey Park. If you come across a closed gate or door, don't worry! Just give us a knock and we'll gladly open up for you.
As for our little warriors, we haven't forgotten about you! Our children's classes, including Little Dragons (4-7 year olds) and Juniors (8-11 year olds), will be starting up again on the 7th of September, right after the summer break. Little Dragons have classes on Thursdays from 5.00-5.45pm, while our Cadets (10 plus year olds) have classes from 6.00-7.00pm. On Sundays, our Cadets also have a class from 5.00-6.00pm. It's going to be a fantastic way to kick off the new school year!
And here's something special for all you curious folks out there – we're offering a FREE trial lesson! Whether you're a complete beginner or have experience in other Aikido styles or martial arts, we welcome you with open arms.
