Learn To Dive, the Scuba Diving club in Manchester, is excited to promote the upcoming AIDA Competition Safety Freediver Course. This training program is specifically designed to familiarise freedivers with the safety procedures and rules during an AIDA competition. It is perfect for individuals who aspire to become Safety Freedivers during these competitions.
The course itself consists of three theory sessions, two pool sessions, and four open water dives. During the theory sessions, students will gain knowledge about safety and rescues, while the confined water sessions in the swimming pool will provide them with practical skills. The open water dives will serve to reinforce and further enhance the safety procedures and rules discussed in the theory sessions.
The course fee, priced at £75, covers all essential equipment, course materials, certifications, and pool fees. However, please note that any entrance fees to the dive site (if applicable) will be charged separately.
To find the upcoming dates for the AIDA Safety Competition Freediver Course, we encourage you to refer to the google calendar provided below. If you are unable to find any available dates or have any queries, don't hesitate to reach out to Steve at steve@freedivers.co.uk or give him a call on (0)7940 998915.
In order to reserve your spot on the course, please proceed to make the corresponding payment on the next page. It's important to remember that on the day of the course, you must bring the filled and signed Medical & Liability forms. If you have answered 'yes' to any of the questions on the forms, you will need a doctor's signature to verify your fitness for freediving.
Upon successfully completing the course, you will receive an email containing further information, including some exercises to start practising. We congratulate you on taking the first step towards becoming a Safety Freediver and wish you the best of luck on your journey!
