The course, priced at £325, includes everything you need for a successful freediving experience. From pool hire, deep quarry access if required, boat use (subject to weather and tide conditions), training, certification, to all necessary equipment – everything is covered.
On the first day of the course, participants will delve into basic freediving theory, learn essential breathing techniques, and receive pool training. In the afternoon, open water theory and relaxation training will be the focus. On day two, the emphasis shifts to diving to depth in open water, with a keen eye on posture and relaxation. Deep dives will take place from a boat, shore, or private quarry, providing a real-world experience. An exam will also be part of the course for certification.
To join the course, participants must be over 16 years of age and able to swim 200m unaided. Due to limited space, booking in advance is essential. The course will commence and conclude in Newquay, Cornwall. Deposits are accepted for course reservations, with a £50 deposit required for equipment hire to safeguard against damages or loss.
