Competitive swimming, Out To Swim has something for everyone. Our adult swimming lessons programme, “Adult Swimming Lessons – Out To Swim,” is designed to provide inclusive and supportive lessons for adults aged 18 and above, regardless of ability, race, gender, orientation, or background.
Our Learn to Swim programme aims to help individuals improve their confidence in the water in a safe and encouraging environment. Whether you have never had the chance to learn to swim, feel uncomfortable in the water, or had a negative experience when learning in the past, our programme is here to support you. We understand that everyone has different motivations for wanting to learn to swim, and we are committed to providing a space where you can excel.
Our programme is a continuous scheme that allows each individual to progress at their own pace with the support of our qualified teachers. Each week, participants will cover various strokes and skills, helping them build confidence, strength, and ability in the water.
1. Beginners: This section is specifically designed for first-time swimmers and those looking to build their basic swimming confidence. Lessons are conducted in small groups in a shallow training pool, ensuring that each swimmer receives individual attention and support in a safe environment.
2. Intermediate and Advanced: In these sessions, participants will focus on improving their technique, stamina, and confidence in deeper water. Swimmers will work on all four strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly) as well as more advanced techniques like starts and turns. As participants progress through the programme, they will gain confidence and endurance, providing a pathway to enter our main swimming programme and explore other aquatic disciplines if desired.
