Adult Learn to Sail (ALTS) Dinghy Programs

Experience the joy of sailing in the warm summer breezes of Kingston with the Adult Learn to Sail (ALTS) Dinghy Programs at Able Sail Kingston. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to enhance your skills, the Sail Canada certified instructors at Able Sail Kingston will provide a safe and supportive environment for you to learn the fundamentals of sailing. Join them on evenings or weekends in historic downtown Kingston for an exciting journey of learning, camaraderie, and adventure. No prior experience is necessary, just bring your eagerness to learn and sail away into the beautiful waters.

Weeknight courses run from 5-9pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for 3 consecutive weeks, with backup days available in case of weather complications. Weekend courses run from 10am-6pm on Saturday and Sunday for two consecutive weekends, also with backup days. Registration opens mid-March for the general public, but Able Sail Kingston members receive advance registration. All participants will receive a credit book equal to 15% of paid program fees, which can be used for Food & Beverage, Regalia, and Gas Dock purchases.
