Always wanted to learn ballroom and latin? Then why not book onto the adult dance courses at Aspire Dancesport in Cambridge? The courses are taught in short 5 to 7-week sessions, so there's no long-term commitment. And the best part? You don't even need a partner! We accept solo dancers and will pair you up with a partner, either the teacher or an assistant. But if you prefer to go solo, that's no problem either.
Our foundations class is perfect for those who are new to ballroom and latin or those who require a refresher on the basics. It's designed for dancers who already have a basic understanding and can navigate the dance floor with simple moves. For those who are more advanced and want to learn more intricate figures and groups, we have an advanced class.
One thing you can be sure of in all our classes is a strong focus on correct technique. After all, it's the foundation to becoming a wonderful dancer.
In the upcoming Spring Term 1, we'll be covering Foxtrot, Jive, Viennese Waltz (Advance), and Social Foxtrot (Intermediates/Foundations). The term runs for 6 weeks at £43.50 per person. But if you only want to join for 2 weeks and learn one dance, that's totally fine too!
The classes take place at Great Abington Primary School in Abington, Cambridge. The term starts on Monday 8th January and ends on Monday 12th February.
In Spring Term 2, we'll be covering Waltz, Cha cha cha, and Paso Doble. The term runs for 5 weeks at £36.25 per person. Again, if you only want to join for 2 weeks and learn one dance, that's completely up to you. Just remember that bookings for the shorter sessions open two weeks before the start dates.
The second term also takes place at Great Abington Primary School, starting on Monday 26th February and ending on Monday 25th March.
