Adelaide University Soccer Club - West Beach

The Adelaide University Soccer Club – West Beach is a prestigious soccer club with a rich history of football programmes for men, women, boys, and girls. Established in 1936, the club prides itself on its tradition and invites individuals to become a part of the Adelaide University Soccer Club legacy.

Located at the University Ovals in North Adelaide, the club is conveniently accessible via public transport routes and is within walking distance from the CBD and university boarding colleges. The club boasts multiple pitches, additional training areas, and a state-of-the-art clubhouse, all of which are highlighted on the map. In addition to the facilities at North Adelaide, the club also utilises the West Beach Playing Fields facility opposite Adelaide Airport for additional training and matches.

The club offers opportunities for men, women, junior girls, and junior boys to participate in soccer. Matches for women, junior girls, and junior boys are typically scheduled on Sundays, with kick-off times varying between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm. Home matches have regular set kick-off times, while away matches take place at various venues across the city, suburban Adelaide, and even some country areas. Some matches may be scheduled on weeknights under lights to accommodate extra rounds or catch-up games.

The Women's National leading League matches, on the other hand, are played on Friday nights at Adelaide Shores or The Parks.

For men's teams, matches are predominantly held on Saturdays. The A team match kicks off at 3:00 pm, preceded by the reserves at 1:00 pm. Some C grade teams may have kick-off times at 11:00 am or 11:30 am. For State League men's teams, the kick-off times vary depending on location, with home matches typically starting at 10:30 am, 12:45 pm, and 3:00 pm.

Training sessions for most teams take place on weeknights from approximately 6:00 pm, twice a week. Women's teams usually train on Mondays and Wednesdays, while men and junior boys train on Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, Grads Red, one of the teams, has training sessions on Wednesdays only. Specific training information for each team can be obtained from the club.
