During the bowling season, which runs from late April to late September, the club's well-maintained bowling green hosts a variety of matches. These matches are played in different formats, including Ladies, Gentlemen's, and mixed-sex matches, both home and away. The club prides itself on maintaining a friendly atmosphere in line with the etiquette of the sport.
Most of the matches are against teams from other local villages and towns in the county, providing a great opportunity to meet new people and explore the wider world. For those seeking a more competitive edge, club members have the opportunity to enter league and cup games, as well as County and National competitions. In addition to formal matches, the club organises informal events throughout the season. Members can participate in Social Bowling roll-ups on Monday and Thursday afternoons at 2 pm. Newcomers to the sport of bowling are encouraged to attend the club's Open Mornings, held on the 7th, 14th, and 21st of May, as well as the Fun Day.
