Just a quick note from Mark, the organiser, welcoming everyone to Active Martial Arts Wing Chun Kung Fu - Bexley!
Mark's passion is centred around teaching Grandmaster Ip Man's lineage of Wing Chun Kung Fu and providing a safe, friendly space for everyone to train. He strongly believes in boosting healthy living and overall well-being through martial arts. That's why the classes mix Wing Chun principles with evidence-based fitness training to help improve overall physical fitness and reduce the risk of disease.
At the core of the school are four main pillars – confidence, fitness, self-defence, and discipline. These guide students as they progress, helping to not only build physical strength and self-defence skills but also increase confidence, self-discipline, and self-awareness.
If anyone's curious about what the school has to offer, there's a free 2-week trial available. It’s a great chance to dive into the training and see if it’s the right fit.
Mark's team is a dedicated bunch, passionate about teaching and always striving to create a positive and supportive training environment. You'll find classes at the Hurst Community Centre in Bexley every Wednesday from 19:30 to 22:30. The centre is easy to get to and has a spacious, well-equipped training area.
