Starting with their pre-school classes for children aged 2–4 years, Acting Up introduces little ones to the world of dance, drama, and music over a fun-filled 2-hour period. As the students grow older, they move into the main school where they delve into dance, drama, and music as separate disciplines over an exciting 3-hour period.
In their drama classes, Acting Up focuses on developing confidence and honing various dramatic techniques. Their dance lessons cover a wide range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, and street dance – ensuring a well-rounded dance education. Singing lessons at Acting Up help students develop their vocal range and explore different musical styles.
If that wasn't enough, Acting Up students also have the opportunity to take Speech and Drama examinations with prestigious institutions such as L.A.M.D.A and Guildhall of Music and Drama. This allows them to further enhance their skills and showcase their talent on a professional level.
Acting Up has a casting agency that provides students with incredible professional opportunities in TV, radio, and theatre. Many of their former students have continued their studies at renowned performing arts colleges such as The London Studio Centre, LABAN Contemporary Dance School, The Royal Academy of Drama, and many more.
