Cascade Dance offers an exciting opportunity for dance enthusiasts in Tunbridge Wells and Sevenoaks to explore the world of Acro Dance. Combining the grace of dance with the athleticism of acrobatics, Acro Dance is a dynamic and artistic form of expression.
The club follows the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus, ensuring that participants progress safely and effectively in their flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling skills. Through a variety of drills, tricks, and movements, dancers will not only enhance their acro dance skills but also have the chance to incorporate them into choreography.
To take part in the classes, dancers are required to wear a specific uniform consisting of a leotard, shorts, and black footless tights. The detailed uniform list can be found in the documents box on the event page. Based on their ability and experience, participants will be assigned to classes that suit their level.
Aside from skill development, Acro dancers at Cascade Dance also have the exciting opportunity to showcase their talents through performances. If you're interested in giving Acro Dance a try, you can sign up for a taster class by following the provided link.
In Tunbridge Wells, the club offers classes for different age groups. The Primary Acro class, designed for 4-7 year-olds, takes place on Saturdays from 09:40-10:20.
