Xcel Leisure Centre is thrilled to announce that Aquarius Swim School will be offering Accelerated Swimming Lessons during the upcoming Half Term break. This is a fantastic opportunity for both current and new customers to develop their swimming skills and have a splashing good time!
For those interested in joining the swimming lessons, they will be available at three convenient locations: The Alan Higgs Centre, Centre AT7, and our very own Xcel Leisure Centre. Booking couldn't be easier – simply visit the centre in person or give them a call starting from Monday 15th January.

The Crash Courses are divided into different stages to cater to individuals of varying swimming abilities. Whether you're a beginner or an improver, there's a class for you. The stages include Stage 1, Stage 2, and Stage 3, each focusing on different aspects of swimming techniques.
Additionally, Aquarius Swim School offers exciting workshop sessions such as the Breaststroke Workshop, Frontcrawl Workshop, and Backstroke Workshop. These workshops are perfect for those who want to refine their stroke techniques and take their swimming skills to the next level.
For our little ones aged 2½ to 4, we have the adorable Ducklings class. This class aims to build water confidence and motor skills, all without a parent in the water. It's a great opportunity for young children to gain independence and enjoy their time in the pool.
The swimming lessons and workshops are tailored to different age groups and abilities. Stage 1 is suitable for children aged 4 and above who have no water confidence or swimming experience. Stage 2 is designed for those who already have confidence in the water, while Stage 3 focuses on further developing swimming techniques.
