In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Academy of Pole has implemented strict preventative measures to ensure the safety and well-being of our students. While we cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19, we are committed to taking every possible precaution to minimise the spread of the virus.
The health and safety of our students and staff are of utmost importance to us. We recommend maintaining a two-metre social distance before, during, and after class. Additionally, Rugby College encourages everyone to wear face coverings while indoors, except when participating in vigorous exercise. Upon arrival, please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds or use the provided hand sanitiser.
To further enhance airflow and ventilation, our Dance Studio's windows will be open during classes, and the door may remain open for additional ventilation. To ensure the well-being of our students, class sizes are limited to a maximum of ten individuals, with five fully-equipped poles available for use. We encourage those sharing a pole to partner with the same person for each class, whenever possible. If you prefer not to share a pole, please contact us to book two spaces, ensuring your comfort and safety.
In our commitment to hygiene, we provide a spray and clean cloth for each student to clean the pole between turns. Additional cleaning products are available for sanitising mats and floors if necessary. We allow a five-minute break between classes to facilitate thorough cleaning and maintain social distancing between those leaving and arriving for their sessions. Our equipment, including poles and mats, undergoes deep cleaning on a regular basis, typically at least twice a week.
The Dance Studio itself is cleaned by Rugby College, ensuring a pristine and safe environment.
If you or anyone in your household or bubble develops symptoms of COVID-19 or tests positive, we kindly request that you follow the government's self-isolation guidelines. Please cancel any affected bookings on the Gymcatch platform as soon as possible and notify us of your self-isolation status. Normal cancellation rules apply.
Rest assured that your privacy and well-being are important to us. In the event that someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 has attended our classes, and you have been identified as a close contact, we may be required to provide your details to the government for contact tracing purposes.
