Acacia Callisthenics & Cheer is a leading sports club located in the beautiful District Council of Mount Barker, South Australia. Established in 1977, the club has a rich history and a strong reputation for producing successful and talented performers. In fact, it was named the most successful callisthenics club in SA in 2021.
At Acacia Callisthenics & Cheer, their mission is to develop strong, confident, skilled, and happy performers through friendship, dedication, teamwork, and fun. They offer a comprehensive range of callisthenics genres for students to study, including March, Exercise, Rods, Club Swinging, Callisthenics Revue, Song and Dance, Character Folk Dance, Aesthetic, Rhythmical Aesthetic, and Callisthenics Skills. With small class sizes, students are provided with a maximum learning experience in a safe and supportive environment.
Callisthenics is the perfect sport for those who want to do it all. Its diverse range of genres allows students to develop strength, flexibility, grace, and confidence. Students have the opportunity to learn and perform various routines reflecting ballet, lyrical, acrobatics, jazz, and musical theatre, along with unique genres of march, clubs, and rods that are exclusive to callisthenics. Participating in just one callisthenics class per week is equivalent to taking six different dance classes for most students!
Acacia Callisthenics & Cheer also offers the option for students to participate in private solo, duo, and graceful girl lessons with their qualified coaches. These coaches are all accredited with the Callisthenics Association of South Australia and collectively possess over 30 years of coaching experience. They are highly skilled and dedicated to sharing their passion for callisthenics with their students.
