Abingdon Badminton Club, situated right here in Abingdon, is an active part of our local sports community. Tom, your organiser, wants to create a space that welcomes badminton lovers of all ages and skill levels. Whether you're a pro or just starting, there's something at the club for you.

A key highlight each year is the Winter Club at St Helens. The final session for the 2022-2023 season is on 13th April 2023, and all venue details are on the website. Winter Club kicks off again on 24th August 2023. The club is proud of its teams in the Oxfordshire Badminton Winter League, with multiple Men's, Ladies', and Mixed Doubles teams in the mix.
Winter Membership fees for this season are £135 for adults and £75 for students and juniors. If you want to drop in, it's £7 per evening.
When summer rolls in, there’s no need to hang up your racket. The Summer Club meets at Larkmead every Tuesday from 13th June to 15th August 2022, between 19:30 and 21:30. Each session costs £5, and more information can be found by contacting the club’s secretary.
Although there's currently no Junior Club, Tom is committed to growing the sport and hopes to welcome young players soon. The club's nurturing setting is perfect for juniors to hone their skills and enjoy the game.
