m. from March 6 to May 8, 2024. Additionally, Friday Zoom Drills & Skills sessions will take place from March 8 to May 17, 2024, with no class on Friday, May 3 for show prep.
The Summer Session 2024 will feature Open/Mixed Skills classes on Monday nights at 7 p. m. from June 3 to July 29, 2024, with no class on Canada Day, July 1, 2024. The classes are held at the Subramanya Yoga Centre on Parkedale Ave, offering a convenient and welcoming environment for students to explore the art of Middle Eastern dance.
With a focus on encouraging students to find their style and voice, Aaliyah Dance specializes in Middle Eastern, Belly, and Fusion Dances. Students are guided to develop deep core muscles, strengthen their bodies, and learn fluid and challenging movements and performance skills. The curriculum covers a range of styles, including classical Egyptian, American cabaret, and fusion, providing a comprehensive understanding of the culture and history of the dance.
The school's instructors are dedicated to helping students strengthen and develop their core muscles, legs, and arms through a variety of exercises.
