Wyong Little Athletics Centre | Central Coast, Australia

Wyong Little Athletics Centre, also known as Wyong Athletic Centre, is a well-established sports club located in the Central Coast region of Australia. It has been providing opportunities for children and athletes to participate in running, jumping, and throwing events since 1978. The club is affiliated with the Little Athletics Association of NSW (LAANSW) and Athletics NSW (ANSW).

At Wyong Athletic Centre, the focus is on ensuring that all athletes enjoy their time with the club. The committee, parents, and athletes work together to create a supportive and inclusive family club atmosphere.

The centre offers regular competition every Thursday afternoon and evening from October to March. The competitions start at 5:15 pm and take place at the Warnervale Athletics Oval, located at the corner of Virginia Road and Warnervale Road in Warnervale.

In the event of wet weather, the centre strives to continue with training and competitions as scheduled. However, if the Warnervale Athletic Field is closed by the Central Coast Council, the club is forced to cancel the activities until further notice. Notifications about any cancellations or changes to the schedule are promptly posted on the club's website and on the TEAMAPP platform.

Wyong Athletic Centre has a rich history in athletics. It was the first joint junior and senior athletics club in NSW. Over the years, the club has consistently performed well in NSW championship events. Many of the club's athletes have represented the centre in zone, regional, state, and even national championships.

The club strongly encourages the use of TEAMAPP as the primary method of communication. TEAMAPP is a mobile application available on Apple iOS, Android, and web browsers. Athletes and parents are encouraged to download TEAMAPP and join the Wyong Athletic Centre group for enrolling in age groups, receiving notifications, and staying up to date with all the club's news and announcements.
