Whitsunday Weightlifting Club is a purpose built facility for Olympic Weightlifting training and one of its kind in the Whitsunday region. It is a not-for –profit club providing programmes suitable for all ages and abilities from ages of 8 years and up. We offer a range of programmes to suit recreational strength and fitness to competitive Olympic Weightlifting with opportunities to attend State, National, and International events.
Whitsunday Weightlifting Club lifters have represented Queensland at National events in Youth, Junior, Senior, and Masters levels. Our professional coaches are fully qualified with Australian Weightlifting Federation. All members of the community, including sporting teams/clubs are welcome to utilise our coaching,programmes and facility.
