West Coast Swimming Club

Welcome to West Coast Swimming Club! We are a sports club located in the City of Port Lincoln that is dedicated to promoting swimming as a major health and wellbeing activity in our community. Our mission is to create an inclusive environment for swimmers of all ages, abilities, nationalities, and backgrounds, including both able-bodied and multi-class swimmers. We firmly believe in our motto, “SWIMMING FOR LIFE,” and strive to deliver that throughout our programmes.

At West Coast Swimming Club, we value teamwork and aim to provide a supportive and enjoyable environment for all of our participants and their families. We also prioritise sportsmanship, honesty, and integrity, and work to maintain those values throughout our organisation. We believe in open communication between all stakeholders, including swimmers, families, and supporters.

In addition to our commitment to inclusion and sportsmanship, we also emphasise excellence. We exercise integrity and ensure that our club environment welcomes and supports multi-class athletes, Indigenous athletes, and those with English as a second language. We are dedicated to excellence in training, competition, and all club endeavours.

Membership at West Coast Swimming Club is aligned with the national swimming body's calendar, Swimming Australia, and runs from October 1st to September 30th of the following year. All individuals wishing to compete in Swimming SA meets or club carnivals must be a registered member with our club. We offer a variety of membership options, including incentives for younger and first-time swimmers.

To become a member of West Coast Swimming Club, there are four simple steps. First, complete the paperwork package, which includes a medical form, registration form, and social media acknowledgement. Next, contact our club registrar, who will enter your details onto SWIMCENTRAL. You will then receive a registration email from Swimming Australia with a one-time link to the online payment portal.

Finally, pay the coaching fee directly to West Coast Swimming.

Existing club members will receive an email with instructions on how to re-register for the upcoming season. If you are an existing Swimming SA member wishing to change clubs, please contact our club registrar to initiate a Club Transfer.
