Welcome to West Brunswick Tennis Club (WBTC) – the friendly club. Located on Victoria Street next to Reaburn Reserve and A G Gillon Oval, WBTC is a vibrant sports club in the heart of Melbourne.
WBTC boasts a range of top-quality facilities, with synthetic grass courts that provide an excellent playing surface for tennis enthusiasts of all skill levels. Currently, the club features eight courts, with an additional two courts currently under construction and expected to be completed in 2023. These new courts will further enhance the club's capacity to accommodate more players and provide an enhanced playing experience.
One of the highlights of WBTC is the Sunday social tennis event. Each Sunday, the club hosts a free social hit, open to both members and non-members. The social session starts at 9:30 in the morning and runs until 12:30, allowing participants ample time to enjoy a friendly game of tennis. To ensure everyone gets a chance to play, sets of doubles are rotated across four courts.
The inclusive nature of this event welcomes players of all levels, making it a great opportunity to meet fellow tennis enthusiasts and improve your skills on the court. Please remember to bring your own tennis racquet, and non-members are invited to join us for up to four sessions to experience the club firsthand.
