Waratah Soccer Club, also known as WWFC, is a local community football club located in South Wentworthville and surrounding areas in Sydney. The club has been in operation since 1954 and is affiliated with the Granville & Districts Soccer Football Association (GDSFA).
Run entirely by volunteers, WWFC caters to players of all ages, ranging from Under 6s to Over 45s for boys and men, and U6s to Over 30s for girls, ladies, and women. The club participates in mixed competitions with GDSFA, which includes weekly training sessions and Saturday games. Additionally, the girls and ladies teams compete in the Phoenix League competition with BDSFA, with training held during weeknights and games played on Sundays.
The club's home ground is the Ted Burge Sportsground, named after its founder Noel “Ted” Burge in 1996. Previously known as Centenary Park, this venue hosts the majority of the club's games and training sessions.
