Wauchope District Rugby League Football Club compete in the Group 3 competition on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Club colours are Royal blue and blood-red.
The name “The Blues” has been widely used since 1920 and was replaced briefly in the 70s, when a Kangaroo was used as a logo and the team was known as the Skippy's.
The Wauchope Football Club had its foundation with a picnic match at “Goal Hill” in Port Macquarie on May 24, 1891.
Originally a Rugby Union Club, it was decided that to attract more players, provide better coaching and afford better representative opportunities for the local footballers, a switch should be made to the relatively new Rugby League.
