All of our 'Demons' did the club proud in 2015 and are set for another big season in 2016.
The club has a proud history and is well known for its family-oriented atmosphere. The kids here are treated as individual players, not just as a number on the books. With one of the largest training areas on the south side, Waterford has two international playing fields, a mod field and a mini-field. A two-storey clubhouse overlooks the fields from a height which provides great viewing.
With over 700 players registered for the 2015 season, Waterford RLFC is one of the largest sporting organisations in the Logan area. With quality teams progressing through the lower age groups, the Demons have been very competitive in recent years culminating in the Demons fielding premier Grade teams throughout most age groups. Several Waterford players have been selected in QRL representative teams in recent years. We provide a genuine NRL pathway through our links with Marsden State High School, Souths Logan Magpies and Brisbane Broncos.
Many Waterford players are on NRL scholarships.
All teams are coached by NRL accredited coaches who are in turn supervised by a senior coaching panel consisting of four level II qualified coaches. We also have the support of Mark Beaumont who has been appointed by the Brisbane Broncos to provide extra support to our junior coaches. ASSA qualified executives head a strong management committee.
Why not come down and enjoy the friendly atmosphere at the home of the mighty Demons.
