Warilla - Lake South Football Club is located at Cec Glenholmes Oval (Hooker Park) just south of Windang Bridge, settled in the cool surroundings by the Lake.
The VERY first team to play for Warilla - Lake South in any grade was the Under 9's. The team played in the Illawarra competition back in 1964. The team although not winning the premiership made a very auspicious debut for the Warilla Club. The coach of this side was Mr C Veitch, and the team – D Raines, B Kors, T White, J Sanson, R Noabes, G Clarke, K Hartley, M Sanson, S Wakeham, M Veitch, W Mason, T Rix, J Gottas and G Davies.
