The Waratahs Rugby Club was formed on 2 March 1959 and is characterised by a strong sense of tradition and camaraderie, a desire to play competitive rugby and a desire to provide members with the opportunity to forge life-long friendships and enjoy a great social life. The Club has a strong Old Boy’s Association and supporter base as well as the support of many local businesses, including over 30 years association with Romano’s Hotel.
The Club fields teams in Womens, 3rd Grade, 2nd Grade and 1st Grade teams. This year the Club also boasts 4 Netball teams.
