The Valerie Smith Stage School was founded at Glenrose Shopping Centre in Belrose. We relocated to Frenchs Forest in 2007 to bigger and better premises. Our studios are now air-conditioned, bright and roomy.
We have Professional and Qualified Teachers, including our Patron and guest Teacher – Lucinda Dunn, Principal Australian Ballet Company. Our dedicated Office Staff and Assistant Teachers are also a huge asset to our dance school.
Our Principal, Valerie Smith, trained at the famous full-time theatrical school in England's West End of London – the Italia Conti Stage School. Valerie studied all styles of dance, as well as drama and singing.
Valerie has been teaching since 1977 and never intends to retire.
