About
The Ulysses Club for motorcyclists over the age of 40, the largest organisation of it's kind in Australia, is now a familiar part of this country's riding scene. The original suggestion for a club for over 40s motorcyclists was put forward in a letter by Stephen Dearnley published in the August 1983 issue of Bike Australia.
The Mandurah-Murray Ulysses Group is a small branch of the Ulysses Club, with around 35 active members. We have a growing band of Spyder riders, as well as trikes, scooters and the usual Kwaka's, Harleys, Hondas and Trumpies.
We ride on Sundays and Wednesdays, and also hold frequent social events.
Our Sunday rides start at the MANDURAH FORUM CAR PARK near the K Mart sign at 9am (unless otherwise advised). Rides vary in distance, and sometimes we will have a “Meet & Greet, Decide & Ride” which means the destination will be selected by the riders who turn up on the day.
Our Wednesday rides are purely a “Meet Greet Decide & Ride” affair. Once again we gather at the Mandurah Forum Car Park around 9am.
The branch meeting is held on the THIRD WEDNESDAY of each month the meeting begins at 7. 30pm..
Social events occur every month, and consist of MMUG Munchie nights at a local café or restaurant; BBQ's at a member's place, movie nights, casserole nights and other activities.
Our Saturday morning Coffee spot rotates from month to month so check on the Home page to find out where we will be. 9. 30am + is the meeting time and the chatter goes on until around midday.
