The UNSW-ES Bulldogs is an Australian Rules Football Club located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, NSW, Australia. Affiliated with the University of New South Wales, the club competes in the AFL Sydney competition. Our vision is to be the Club of Choice, with a purpose centred around providing development pathways for all players and ensuring sustainable on-field and off-field success.
At the Bulldogs, we uphold values of honesty, respect, accountability, and unity. We expect all players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters to embrace and embody these attributes. In 2022, our pre-season training has commenced at UNSW David Phillips Sports-Field in Daceyville, with the competition starting on the first weekend in April.
We pride ourselves on being a club with a team for everyone. In the 2022 season, we are planning to field nine teams, including Men’s and Women’s leading Divisions, Men’s top Reserves, Men’s Division 1, Men's Division 2, Men's Division 3, Women’s Division 1 or 2, Under 19’s Division 1, and Under 19s Division 2. We understand that our teams and players often have different priorities, whether it be pursuing sporting pathways to the big stage or simply improving fitness and socialising. Our 'One Club' mantra ensures that everyone is included at the Bulldogs.
We warmly welcome players of all abilities to join our club and are also open to expressions of interest for staffing and volunteer roles. In regard to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UNSW-ES Bulldogs are committed to adhering to protocols imposed by AFL Sydney, the University of New South Wales, and Australian Government laws. We train and compete in accordance with the AFL Sydney’s Return to Contact Training, Competition & NAB AFL Auskick Protocols.
